To maintain and further improve the reserve Planting, Hedge Laying, Thinning,
Water Management, Path Maintenance and Habitat Improvement are undertaken.

were placed around the Woodland during Winter 2009/10.

The boxes were placed on trees around the reserve. Aperture Bird Boxes and Bat Boxes
were placed high in the trees, Open fronted Bird Boxes placed at head height.

Colchester Avenue Allotments Association collected and donated
scrap corrugated iron sheets for use as nesting for small mammals and basking for reptiles.
