Water features include a Pond, New Pond, Scrapes and a Winter Wetland providing perfect conditions for a wide variety of flora and fauna. These habitats are complimented by the Meadow & Grassland and Woodlland areas. (Unprecedented flooding Winter 2012/13)

Older Woodland

The older woodland areas of the reserve provide ideal habitats for many bird species here among the mature Oak you will see a large variety of small birds including Great, Blue and Long-tailed Tits, Wrens, Blackbirds and Wood Pigeon.

Planted Woodland
~
Planted within the last 30 years this woodland boasts many species which require a mature woodland habitat including the colourful Jay and trunk hugging Tree Creeper.

Scrub
